Comfortable shooting magnum caliber

Looking for a magnum caliber that is still comfortable to shoot or standard caliber with good long range energy
No wild cats please and 6.5s have no grown on me yet either
Also will be shooting factory ammo to start with
I think the 300 Weatherby is fairly comfortable to shoot. My friends 375 H@H was surprisely comfortable to shoot.

I have a 300WSM Savage Model 12 stainless fluted barrel. I want to sell it has only had 20-30 rounds down the barrel. Got it in a trade. I am left handed and don't really need this as it is a right hand bolt. Very accurate rifle though. Looking to get $600.00 for it. This is a copy of my rifle as I don't have current but it is exactly like this one.

Looks like a nice rifle.i cant tell is it threaded?
No but have thought about it if I was to keep it. I have a brake I bought for it that would come with it. It is a Venom brake. Brand new. I can get it threaded for 125.00 I also have 50 rounds I believe to.

My 300 Win Mag has minimal kick with the Little Bastard Gen 3 brake I put on it. And it reaches out there.
Do you reload? The magnum ammo gets pretty expensive when you buy the quality stuff. For instance, 300 Weatherby magnum sells for about $3.00/ round. 300 win mag, about $2.00/ round. But my reloads run me only about $.50/round if I don't factor in the cost of the equipment. I just figure the equipment cost is negligible when amortized over thousands of rounds.

I've looked hard at couple factory threaded rifles in 300 win mag and I do not reload right now but I am planning on it soon just trying to get the equipment together I'm trying to find used stuff to start with

Some 3006s ive shot have had more recoil than some heavies I have. A lot has to do with stock configuration, recoil pads etc, rifle weight. Some cartridges produce a sharp recoil, where others are a hard push. Me I'd rather shoot my 338 rum with 270s at 15 pounds than my 7mag with 168s at 11, but the 338 is braked, not a real hi end brake
