Just a shout out to the old push feeds.
I took my 25 year old rifle out today. This is a pretty average three shot group.
over the years, it's been cut down, threaded and the stock replaced. I've adjusted the trigger once and it breaks just under 2lbs.
There really was something magical about the New Haven guns.

thats not a push feed, its a CRF that has the Mauser style claw extractor and open bolt face with the receiver mounted blade style ejector

OP is talking about the PF which has a small plunger retained extractor claw and a pin retained round plunger style ejector similar to but not identical the rem 700 bolt face style that is a fully encircled bolt face shroud

then there is the CRPF (I have one on my 2006 super shadow 7wsm)-- it has an open bolt face like the CRF but a small plunger retained extractor claw but still retains the receiver mounted blade style ejector--- almost impossible to find a replacement extractor claw ( I did find a new manu. one but man was it pricey)

here is a pic of the 3 different bolt styles of the win 70 -- the WSM cartridges came on a short action

The only thing left original is the action.😂

Very pretty.
Only thing not original is the brake, quarantina paint job and barrel length. Even the stock is a warranty replacement after a lesser smith destroyed the original HS attempting to inlet for a DBM.
HS still makes the original stock so they had no problems swapping it out with a custom LOP and grass paint pattern.
People can say what they want about HS, but they are in my opinion gtg.
