New Vortex Razor HD LHT VS Leupold VX5 HD

Haven't gotten a LHT yet but the VX5s I have, have good glass, decent weight, only issue is I really hate the rough chalky finish they have. Will probably give an LHT a try after I see the reviews of it.

I have owned a VX5 HD and sold it, as I was going to replace it with a different reticle VX5. Then I saw the new Razor LHT that peeked my interest. I have not had a chance see the Razor LHT in person but I do own 2 first gen. Razor HD & my real question would be how the glass compare in the new LHT to The 1st gen. Razor.( IMHO I prefer the glass in the 1st. gen Razor over the VX5HD)

I have owned a few of both brands and wouldn't waste my money on either one. Go with a March 2.5-25 or a Nightforce and you will be much happier.
I have plenty of HEAVY NF, IOR & Razor HD scopes in the safe & yes I would love the March until I had to pay the bill. The reason I decided of one of these two is price point & weight for a light hunting rig. 6.5 PRC

I was on the fence about this. Got sick of waiting for reviews so I bought a VX-5HD 3-15x44 with a Firedot reticle. I have owned several Leupold products and never had an issue with them. However, this is my first "dialing" scope.

Have both. Can't talk to tracking and durability of the Vortex, but they are very comparable in weight and glass. I really like them both. The LHT turrets have a much better feel than the older LH models.

Can anyone talk about the two scopes in terms of dialing abilities? I have VX6 that is a great scope but the turrets are a bit mushy and you have to really pay attention while dialing to determine clicks. Are the VX5's better than the VX6 in terms of turrets?
