Looking to purchase a case trimmer. Been reloading for my 6.5 Gap, but have recently built a 300norma improved, and starting on a 25 Sherman. Want to buy a trimmer that will do all of them. Budget is pretty much open, just don't want to take forever trimming cases. Thanks in advance.

Well mine is slow i use the Wilson with micrometer adjustments it is very precise and I want precision over production

With some you're limited to which cases fit the fixture. Some with hand crank have motorized adaptors. As mentioned, precision and accuracy is my first concern. Several brands take a while to set up, but when mastered are quite accurate. I'm sure you'll receive a pitch for nearly every make of trimmer available.

Forster Case Trimmer. It's slower than some others, but it's a mini lathe similar to the Wilson case trimmer. I really like the versatility of it and it's easy to setup and use. Lee case trimmers are pretty cool too, but they tire my hands if doing a larger batch of ammo. The Lee's are also not available for every cartridge out there.

I have and like my Forster Original trimmer. I use it for small lots of trimming and mostly for calibers I don't shoot much. For .223, .30/'06 which I shoot an awful lot of, I use Dillon trim dies on a 650. I have a Giraud Tri-Way on a big
motor for .308. Regards, Mike

I recently purchased the Wilson. Love it! It's easy to set up and never have to worry about adjusting like I did on previous trimmer. Very fast also.

OMG, if you buy anything but a Giraurd, don't even bother, Trimming those big cases with a hand tool, you will end up with severe arthritis in your thumb. Cry once, Call Doug, they are great people.
Set up easy, just follow directions.
