All is Well!

Hmm, interesting, first time I've heard of anybody getting it twice, in fact I've read that while it's not impossible it is improbable. Never heard of anybody coughing up blood. You've got to be really tough taking the time to post on a forum while coughing up blood and suffering from severe chest pain. Hope you recover quickly.

I have heard of people getting it twice, that is scary.
For those with emphysema the symptoms of coronavirus seem to be the same as everyday breathing except you get a fever as a new friend. I try to be cheerful.
If you are coughing up blood it sounds like a bad case of pneumonia, pertusis or stage 4 cancer. I have coughed up blood with the first two, an old friend refused to go to the doctor until he couldn't stop coughing blood. Three weeks later we buried him.
Please see a doctor or call the nurse hotline for advice.

Did you have a fever leading up to the full symptoms? I have what I think is a cold that has settled into my chest. Coughing up some crud but I haven't had a fever at all.

......Be careful buddy well it may not be the coronavirus you still need to take care of yourself........

We're seeing some very sick people test negative for corona. It didn't eliminate the other players, just stole the headlines.

Until we have better access to testing, folks like yourself are left wondering,

Definitely don't low rate what ever it is you have.

Good Luck!

Stuff is changing every day. Different test, quicker turn around, more labs in the testing.

Not every body will be tested, some of that stinginess is carried over from when this started. Some of it is supplies, and other things are shifted toward the hot spots.

The logistics suck.

Not tested but all the symptoms a month and a half ago. It was nasty but didnt miss any work because of it and it didnt spread through the shop. Im an dickhead to work with and most avoid it= works for me
Point is at shy 60 it hit me harder than an average cold and lasted longer but not a problem so far now if it mutates?

I sorta had something similar about 5-6 weeks ago. Mostly a cough, but never felt feverish. I used to get the croup as a youngster so I know what a dry cough sounds like. Some upper lung activity but no real pain or a lot of congestion. Sort of a sucky appetite and would usually fall asleep after eating. Took a good couple of weeks to get over it. I'm soon to be 72. The wife got it about a day after "I brought it home." Hers is lasting longer than mine did. She says she has/had all of the symptoms, but I'm loathe to accept that since there are no other reported cases in our family or in our town. That being said there is almost always some sort of nasty chit going around.
Stay safe out there and be well everyone.

Your wife being a nurse puts you and your daughters in a tight spot I think that is a very smart way to handle it with the camper you are in my prayers

The nurses I've talked to over the phone assessment process says a fever isn't always present with Covid19.
each doc is going to be different-- according to mine, if your fever isnt at 100.4 or higher then you don't fit the CDC's guidelines and he cant write a "scrip" for you to go get tested--stiil running out of tests everyday here in CO and they have to "prioritize" people for testing

They also say people can have it and they won't even know...
