I'm looking at building an AR-10 in 22 creedmoor. I know you should use a small base die when reloading semi/pump/lever action firearms. For those of you currently loading 22 creedmoor for an AR, I'd like to know how you go about this. 6mm Creedmoor small base die? Thanks for the help.

I'm still waiting on the 22 Grendel barrel to come in. PF does great work but the one off jobs take a while. It's like buying a suppressor. The 22 Creed is a tack driver for sure but wasn't throated long enough not to jam the 90's that I wanted to shoot up into the lands so 75 eld-m it is.

I ordered the barrel from McGowen and didn't get specific with them. I shouldn't have assumed they'd know I intended to shoot 90 VLD's

First 5 shot group at 100 yards after barrel break in.

That looks good, what speed you running the 75?

I have a 22" grendel and love the gun, i have been running the 69tmk and slaying dogs out to 475 so far at night.

I have a 22" xcaliber coming in 22 creed 8 twist +2 rifle gas and plan to run either 69 tmk or 75 eld

Is Bart doing the 22creed build? Have you gotten it up and running yet?

Bart did not do the creed. I did have the creed going for a bit then sold it to a buddy. The ar 10 and the ar 15 in .224 cals was pointless so I stayed with the 22 grendel.

I have a new piston driven upper I am looking to get rid of. Unfired.

How did you like the 22cm in a gasser? Been contemplating building an upper to drop into my Aero M5 lower.

It was ok, I honestly like the 22 grendel more. Smaller frame and still gets things going out a ways. Run a 69 tmk at 3200 or more and it slams steel, lays out dogs like lightning. The 22 creed was doing like 3400, but was bigger heavier, to me a 22 creed should be a bolt gun, but if you could do it on a small frame or one of those in between size frames out there you would be doing great
