30 sherman magnum

A little more Max load testing today:
28" Bartlein 9 twist
230 Berger. F215. ADG brass

RL33
91 grs. 3111'
92 grs. 3160*. slight x mark and bolt lift

215 Berger
92 grs. 3246'
93 grs. 3289'

N570
88 grs. 3259

*The only round that had pressure signs was the the 230 @ 3160'
All primer pockets still tight after 3 firings at these velocities.
I'm not suggesting that anyone should run these loads, but I think you get the idea of the cartridge and brass capability with N570 and RL33.

Just got some 245's in so loaded up some RL 33 and ran them over the magneto speed. It looks like 3039 is about what I would consider max in my rifle. Just very slight bolt lift was the only sign of pressure starting.
Web was good, no xmark, no flattened primer, case sized back to spec and primer re seated TIGHT! This was the 7th firing on the brass.

Any issues with a carbon ring or fouling from rl33? I have thought about trying it in my nm but don't know if I should. So rl33 is getting better velocity than n570?
