Well I got my somewhat lightweight 33xc build done. 14.5 lbs w optics and bipod.

Terminus Helios Action w 40 moa rail
XLR Element 3.0 magnesium folding chassis
30" proof research 1.250 straight contour carbon barrel
Titanium 5 port Magnum "Muscle" brake which shaved 6 oz off the steel version
Triggertech Diamond set at 12 oz
Zero Compromise Optics 527
Spuhr mount w 20 moa offset

I can still zero at 100 yds and have about a half mil to spare. I have 35 mil from my 100 yd zero which is enough to get me past 3000 yds before I hold over.

Ive tried IMR 8133, H50bmg, and VV N570 powder and all three have offered great nodes with low es and 1/4moa or better accuracy. VV N570 is what Im going to end up using. Ill post the load info below.

Heres the powder charge test with VV N570. It finally had a velocity node when the case started getting full. 300 gr Berger bullet at 3280-3300 fps is the node and is two grains wide for only a 38 fps change in velocity. Case web was the same size as 3150 fps with IMR 8133. Still .00125-.00015 under chamber size so its not a HOT load but is definitely on the higher end. I decided to try a seating depth test. Loaded up .038 off the lands and shot roughly a 1.035" / .17 moa group at 580 yds. 3280 fps and a ES of 9 fps. About 10 rounds later the barrel sped up so I loaded up the rest of the unfired brass w h50bmg so it would be easy on the throat til the brass is fired once and the barrel is done speeding up. Now that its done ill go back and retweek the load slightly. Even with a 300 gr berger at 3300 fps I have no problem spotting hits with this setup and the scope at 27x. I can watch the huge vapor trail from the 300 gr berger go down to the target. Heres the 100 yd group I did while shooting the powder charge test. 108-116 gr was the lower half of the group. 117-121.5 was the upper half of the group. Lower right shot was 108 gr. Barrel was cold and clean for that shot.

I got the brass and dies from David Tubb. Peterson brass. Its very strong brass. Heres a picture of the 33xc next to a 300 wsm LOL. Single shot only. Youll have to remove the bolt to take a unfired round out.

Thanks for posting Ryan, nice setup. I got my brass & dies in from Tubb two weeks back and got the reamer in today. Want to run the 300's and at least have a good place to start now. Mine is only gonna have 26 inches of barrel and if I get 3150 or better I'll be happy. I'm standing by for more of your results.

You have my Attention too !
Thank you for all the info and Wow !! Sweet looking set up .
I didnt see your twist rate ?
