22 Creedmoor brass (lapua preferred)

You should buy lapua 6mm creedmoor brass with Small rifle primers and then size it for 22 creedmoor yourself...
Neck turned??? And it looks like he reanneals??? I said Lord Jesus, ain't nobody got time for that!!! Not in the quantities im looking to buy!

If you want to save time in the future, I would recommend looking at Peterson brass. It is the only brass that I've bought that I haven't had to do some work on before loading it for the first time. I bought mostly Lapua brass but in every box there are at least a few that have visibly uneven necks so I end up sizing the entire box before loading lapua for the first time.

I hear you brother, but regardless of what brass I buy new, it ALL gets neck turned, sized and necks are expanded through a turning mandrel prior to loading. I would never just load and shoot anyone's new brass, cuz once I get a 100 yard zero and dope across 20, I never shoot under 600 yards again, so it gets 100% prepped first day.
This clownbuster dude is gonna do 1200 cases for me in two - three weeks and I never have to touch it, and ship it for free; I couldn't get my card out fast enough.

To wear out 1200 lapua cases is going to take some serious shooting and more than one new barrel.
I have 400 6mm Creedmoor cases and I'm guessing I'll need to buy a new barrel before I buy new brass.

LOL right?! I currently have four new 22CM's in the stable ready to run, just need brass. Two for me, one for my prince and one for my princess. Momma didn't get one cuz she likes to shoot the 338 Sherman Short with the TBAC on the end! Snob...

@Elk Hunter 338 just got my brass from Clownbuster off Snipershide....I can't believe the quality in this work, especially in 1200 pieces. Wanted to give an update and quick review for any "naysayers" lol.
Randomly selected 120 pieces (10%) and checked:
- Length: +/- 0.0002"
- Weight: +/- 0.04 gr
- Neck thickness dimension: same and with a sharp mirror-like turned finish.
- AND THIS was the big one for me - Headspace checked against an Innovative Technologies Digital Headspace Gauge: all the frickin same right at -0.003" off of a fired test case that came with one of the rifles.
Its like it all came off an assembly line...
When you wildcat cases you can get some large variances in the headspace that has to be fired at least once; so then you are dealing with cases that will be stretched more than others, resulting in a host of concentricity issues as the brass "ages" through use. Not his stuff!! Thanks again for the assist with this!!!!

thank you for the update and like i said its the best brass ive seen for the 22 creedmoor!!!! glad you got exactly what you wanted and now the fun begins!! the 22 creed is a mean machine and you'll love it!!

All 120 within 0.0004 gr seems too good to be true. I'm guessing you just miss placed the decimal point. All 120 within 0.4 gr would impress me.

I think you got a great deal if you payed less than $1500 for the 1200 brass.

If you don't mind sharing, how much did the 1200 brass cost you?

Oops, yes, I did, sorry Brian...however, I'm afraid 0.4gr variance wouldn't impress anyone I shoot with or against, sooo...I'm glad you're impressed??? BUT, I get the feeling by your generally negative tone throughout this entire thread, youre just going to find something wrong with whatever Im joyed about. Im not interested in answering your cost inquiry when you've already primed your next reply by your disingenuous statement masked as genuine interest. If you honestly believe you can purchase custom-formed, neck turned and annealed brass for $0.05/case over the cost of the Lapua 6.5 Creedmoor brass that was used to make it, youre not worth having a real discussion with.

I was actually really curious about what the cost was. I would still like to know the cost if you are willing to share. Assuming the quality is as good as you say it is, I don't think you overpaid, even if it was $2400 or even $3600. Producing that type of quality takes a lot of time and skill.

I've bought 6mm Creedmoor Lapua brass for as low as $0.90 per brass. If he sold you 1200 pieces for $1500 that would be a $420 profit for his work if he bought new lapua brass for a good price. I think the time to properly prep 1200 pieces of brass is worth much more than $420 in labor. That would be around $0.35 profit per piece of brass not $0.05. Even if he overpaid for Lapua brass at $1.20 each that would still be a profit of $300 or $0.25 per piece (assuming the $1500 for 1200 brass). I wouldn't sell brass I've prepped for my guns for even $10 each but I guess it is all in how someone values their time.

If you are going to make a typo and claim 0.0004 gr variance, then you should have broad enough shoulders to handle being corrected. I'm only going to argue with you if you post something ridiculous or strange that needs to be corrected. I think that is great that you were able to get a large volume of quality brass that you wanted. Honestly I thought you might be a troll that is trying to promote his brass prep business. If you are not a troll trying to promote his brass prep business then I owe you an apology.

So you are telling me all 120 pieces of brass had less than a 0.04 gr variance? I would still be impress if you could get bulk 22 creedmoor brass with only a 0.4 gr varience. Even if I was payed $10,000 for 1200 pieces for prepped brass at that type of consistency, I wouldn't take the job. That is very impressive is someone is really providing bulk quantities of prepped brass like that.

I'm not going to argue cost semantics with you, no time for that. Please don't confuse my intolerant reply for being offended; I wasnt at all, I just don't have the time. Yes, I definitely picked up on your doubting tone as if I was some weird promoting troll (even though @Elk Hunter 338 was doing most all the promoting for him if you bother to go look) and just don't have time or will to invest in convincing anyone otherwise, particularly in my own thread in the classified section lol. Just thought Id share something Im excited about.
Turns out its really great custom brass @ $2800 shipped for 1200 cases. To some people, that's not alot of money.

This isnt bulk brass bro. The dude litterally put his hands on every single piece of brass. With care. And precision. NOT bulk, I just bought alot.

Peterson would be a distant 3rd option... thanks tho 👍

Not sure why they would be your third option. I have their brass in 6mm Creedmoor and 6x47 Lapua now I got recently and the quality control is as good as Lapua. They ship them in nice boxes and they're ready to reload immediately. Not to mention the price is normally less than Lapua too, and you don't have to neck down either. Lapua will be losing business with the QC these guys are showing lately.
