Shooting school by the Twin Cities in MN/WI

Hello,

I am lookimg for recommendations for a shooting school in the Twin Cities area in MN or WI. I feel that I have a very solid theoretical background, but I do suck behind the rifle. I am looking for something less heavy on classroom stuff with the majority of time spent behind the rifle.

Probably not what you are looking for but Gopher Rifle and Revolver Range runs an F-class practice league shooting at 600 and 1,000 yards on a known distance (KD) range at their range outside of Harris (about 45 miles north of the Twin Cities). GRRC's KD range has difficult winds so shooting there every week will definitely help your wind reading skills. It is a practice league so the other shooters are happy to help out newer shooters.

I need to keep my opinions to myself. But this guy will not steer you in the wrong direction, he is extremely big on fundamentals.
Most coarses offer Basic-entry level, level 2, etc.. type of stuff, not sure on this one. If you are not comfy in the classroom, ask questions, going to some no matter where you go.

I listened to a couple of podcasts by Frank Gali, and I agree he is s no-nonsense dude. I would be interested in taking his class, but I cannot figure out from the thread where it might be listed when it becomes available. Any idea how and when to register?

Not really, if you have listened to podcasts, I take it you are a SH member ??? If not, join and PM him, but he has to have schedule somewhere, no clue there either.

I teach Precision rifle courses in the area. I will also be hosting a new shooter event at Rush Lake range over May 1-3 weekend. That is a larger event for people interested in PRS or even Longrange hunting practice. Troy

I'm also in MN and farmer so if be interested in a class in the mid summer time frame.
