Man I want one of them in 300WSM, If you're tight with a dealer, price wouldn't be bad. I just called mine to see what its gonna be. I don't like the looks of the accustock but they work alright and it will shoot good, better than the old Tupperware jobs

It will appeal to those running a can, also, I think most people chasing ultra lite rifles for mountain hunting prefer shorter barrels. I do wish the 280AI came in 24" instead of 22", but for crawling through brush and trees and to make it reasonable with a can, 22" isnt bad.

Dang I missed the barrel size, and yeah they don't make sense but I guess we cant have our cake and eat it too Lol. I like 24" in my 7-08's and 26" on my 7mm Rem mag, and at least 24" on a 280AI, but its still a great deal.

He can order them now he said. But until he orders he won't know date. But I did see on Facebook that savage said the precision rifles will be shipping mid february. So my guess about that time as well.

I want one in 280 Ackley. Saw an online site had them at $1179. Where's your gun guy at? I'm in southeast idaho, I think you're close to me.

I'll definitely be ordering 2 of these rifles when available to me! It is nice to see them really pushing the limits of a factory rifle. I'm hoping they do a line with some 6mm and 22 cal stuff.
