Almost a 3 manner in Idaho

Had 16 down by noon. Slow day. Still need to get more weather. Oh, and my shotgun broke. Turned into a single shot since the cap on my tube spring blew up and the plug and spring came shooting out the bottom.

What shotgun are you shooting?

My grandfather gave me his browning gold hunter 12 last year. Since he doesn't hunt waterfowl anymore. He said he had only used it one season, (his last). I'm guessing I got water on it in 18° weather and froze.

Those semi autos can be a little finicky when it gets cold .

How they taste compared to mallards?

Too dang hard to clean only time we shoot them if somebody wants a mount
They stronger taste than mallards
