My understanding is that there are 3 different Rem 700 Muzzleoaders,ML,MLS,UML.
Standard,Magnum,and Ultimate.
I am curious if the breech plugs can be interchanged? And can the Ultimate 308 case ignition breech
plug be used in the ML,and MLS?

Do you have any explanations for this?Such as why they can't be interchanged , differences guns, max loads?

They are completely different ignition systems, especially the RUM, which uses a 2piece nipple.

RUM ignition system...…….

Getting a single breech plug to work in multiple rifles would present a head spacing nightmare.

Remington (RUM) has enough head space issues by itself. The PP brass primer carriers can vary in head thickness up ot .020", which itself is pittiful. Even the 45 Winchester magnum brass from Starline can vary up to .005".

Are you familiar with older models of Rem 700 (ML,MLS,UML) (regular, magnum and ultimate),if I'm correct, preceding UML, and if the ultimate ignition breech plug will fit or in the older rifles the same or if the barrel is different or threaded different.
Do you know what type of ignition system the older model rifles have?Do you know the differences in the guns and why maximum loads vary from the older to newer models?Do you know the max loads of these ?

Can you explain, I cant see the damage,or "gas cut in photos"

I haven't monkied with a 700ml in a long time, yes I know what its breech plug looks like.
The new Remington Ultimate has completely different threads and the whole thing is different. Its not going to be interchangeable and as I mentioned, it would be a complete nightmare trying to have proper head space.

The older Remington rifles were never designed to exceed the "normal pressures" of the time. The Remington Ultimate is a whole different ignition system, with a barrel designed to double the charges of either the 700ml rifles.

The 700ml used a #11, or musket caps and with a conversion kit to 209 available. 120grs maximum of black powder. The 700mls was the magnum version capable of 150grs maximum of black powder.

The Remington Ultimate is an extremely strong and separate design, utilizing a true 700 action with locking lugs. It has an extremely heavy barrel and its rated for up to 200grs of black powder. Its has a completely different ignition system, thread pitch was changed and its hardened to withstand the pressures of heavy charges that are not possible in either the 700ml or 700mls.

I can't seem to identify the gas cut in the photos
Gas cutting starts on the nipple, not the case. The case photos show what should be, then progressing to leaking gas. Its the leaking gas that cuts the breech plug nipple.
I thought...….. I had a photo of an actual gas cut nipple, but can't find it quickly. I'll continue looking.
Where the case is SUPPOSED to seal on the nipple, that's where the nipple will cut and literally be destroyed and must be replaced.
IF...……. Remington suspects that BH209 has been used in the RUM, the ignition system will not be covered under warrantee.

Ok...…… here's exactly what gas cutting on the nipple of an ULTIMATE rifle looks like.
Notice the completely blackened breech plug? That's because the leaking gas created it. Look at the nipple and how a large chunk has been gas cut from it.

Is it very dificult to change these? Can it be done with a socket?
The Remington Ultimate muzzleloader, although Remington doesn't recommend removing the breech plug, will "normally" come out with a socket and 12" extension.
Some have issues with removing them and break off the nipple section with the hex. Once you break it, you have to drill the center of the plug out on a lathe, then use a large EZ-out to remove the remains.
