Prairie Dog hunt 2020

Looking to get a little info from some of you guys that either live in Pdog country or are regular pdog hunters. I'm looking to book a shoot for May of 2020. I live in west Ky and I'd like to try to keep the drive to around 12hrs if possible but not a deal breaker. Any suggestions on outfitters who offer prairie dog shooting as well as any other tips or info y'all have would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't used them but plan on doing so when I move in about 6 months. They offer many different outfitter names that you can check out.

Let us know what you do. Other here including myself would be very interested.

I don't have the time to drive to another state and drive the backroads trying to find a place to hunt. It's worth it to me to find an outfitter and go to places they already know about.

Not sure what state you want to hunt, but South Dakota in May is VERY wet! I go late June to get past the rains, and the moms will be out with the pups. More targets!

No went with a outfitter that charged us 200 a day per guy but shot about 600 rounds a day that's with 3 bolt rifles. They supplied bench no food are anything. And dogs all over the place at one time I counted 7 inmy scope

Nelson outfitters they do lot of big game hunts and leases a bunch of land out there. But in the spring can put u on lots of pdogs 307-672-6996

Thanks for posting the information and the prior information on your hunt. I'm looking for a hunt in 2020 and this outfitter was on my list.

You can try Jim River Guide Service in SD too, he is a little pricey but supposed to be very good.
