Best bipod for long range shooting

Look at the TBAC bipod best of both, but expensive.

I had my Harris before the atlas came out. Didn't see a need to change.

I am not sure if I'd limit my search to just those 2 brands. Some innovative stuff out there that may suit your fancy.
That said, I own 9 Atlas bipods, and am really liking the Atlas Cal model. I just bought a Harris for a 10-22, swivel model, wish I had taken a pic of the small vise grip hanging off the tension knob while waiting for the 30 dollar aftermarket handle to get here. Never again.

I have harris and atlus. Atlus is more verstile, while the harris is way easier to deploy. Atlus, also, doesnt move as much as the harris.

Has anybody here used this ckye-pod for hunting/shooting yet? I really like the features that it has, and a little extra height. It's a little on the heavy side and definitely expensive. Looking for users thoughts.
Can't say for hunting they are heavily used in the PRS community. My buddy who competes has one and I think it's usefulness could be effective in the field. If you're hunting uneven terrain the adaptability if it may be worth the extra ounces.

everyone who has negatives on the atlas bipods I'm right there with you...but have you tried the cal model? Completely changed my opinion on them and actually took it off my PRS rifle to exclusively use on my hunting rifle. The 5H would obviously be ideal for shooting but the cal with its wider stance really helps stability over the v8 and PRS models.

Yes I can't seem to find a flat spot where I hunt, that's why I'm looking at the ckye or the atlas ca model. I want something that I can adjust the legs from the top (near the gun) because the harris and evolution adjust from the lower part of the leg and in field shooting it's hard to reach up from behind the rifle with 1 hand, it's a 2 hand job to adjust.

Neither. Accutac.

Actually, I put that a bit glibly. Accutac is the most rigid bipod I've ever used. Their F-Class is both extremely rigid (as in there's no flex) and it's also ridiculously stable and easy to use for things like F-class.

I can also tell you what have proven to be rattle traps or otherwise prone to causing me trouble: Atlas, Magpul, Caldwell clones of Harris, anything made in China.

Atlas have come apart on me. Either I can have pan function or I can have the bipod not self-disassemble. Can't have both. Legs on them have a bit of wiggle which got worse as they were extended. Required loading.

Magpul's bipod is nifty and light but it is a flex monster.

Caldwell bipods I've tried were clones of Harris but made to such a low build quality standard that I just gave those bipods away to the less fortunate.

Harris bipods are actually really good but they're narrow in heights appropriate to prone use. Wider is better if stability is the game.
