What gloves are you all using for cold weather? I have tried several different types, but haven't found any that I am in love with.

When it gets to single digits and below, I break-out a pair that has a mitten finger cover top (that holds a hand warmer), they also have a thin single layer of fabric that covers the fingers (most of these have exposed fingers). I will also wear a pair of sheer liners, the silver or gold metalic looking ones (some hold a hand warmer on top of the hand). I am good with these, I have trouble keeping my fingers from going numb before this...might be excessive for some (a lot of folks likley don't hunt in the cold temps), but this works well for me with the mitten top finger cover open once the dog is birdy, have even shot a few unexpected ones with the mitten top on. I also wear these during late season muzzleloader deer hunting. Scheels or Fleet Farm would carry these in my area. Grab a box of the hand warmers too. Numb fingers make it extremely difficult to pop the safety off!

I saw these while I was surfing the internet made by hot shot I think. Right now my go to has been the mittens without the fingers, but they suck when it is raining - they are wool blend of sorts.

I think they maybe be Hot Shots. If it is warm enough to rain, I just use a set of mid-weight waterproof ones. Rain conditions are definately harder to hunt in than snow.

I always use some sort of fingerless glove with the pull over mitten. I try and find something with a treated fabric so it is a little water repellant.

Might have to break-out the cold weather gear today already...16 degrees with a wind chill of 0 . A Vets Day bird hunt, have a couple guys coming out this morning...the last I had heard! This coming weekend they are calling for 50 degree temps, love Iowa weather!

I have had the best luck with fingerless wool gloves for both upland and waterfowl. If it's really cold, I wear a thin wool liner underneath. This enables me the dexterity to easily reload and feel the trigger.

How cold? I like the Kuiu lighter weight ones, don't remember the model name. Mechanix are good too. I use both those down to about 20 no problem. There are also insulated leather gloves that, once broken in, work great when it's reallllly cold.
