best muzzlebrake for 300 Norma Improved?

I currently have a 3 port slabbed muscle brake on my Piercision .300 Norma but it still has quite sharp recoil. Are there any other brakes out there that will reduce the recoil better? My barrel is a #5 Brux.

I second nathan. I went with his titanium 5 port beast brake for a 8.9 lb .338 Norma magnum. My second choice would be the Terminator T3, but the 5 port Beast brake reduces recoil just a little better, and is cheaper, even for the titanium version. You can even get one of his 5 port self timing beast brakes for cheaper, and not have to pay a smith to pull your barrel and time the brake, just install it yourself.

I have a T3 on my 300 Norma Improved and it's pretty comfortable to shoot.

Any reason you didn't go with his 5 port brake at precision ? I have one on 300 Normaimp and it works awesome. Titanium action and proof barrel so it's fairly light except the ZCO 4-20 on top. Balances everything out nicely though.

For this caliber you needed his Slabbed Muscle 5 port brake. The 3 port is for standard magnums and some ultra magnums. The 5 port is for over 100 grains of powder

I strongly recommend one of Nathans brakes. I have one on a 338LM and it kicks like a kitten. I'd put it around a 308 recoil wise maybe a bit less. Easily the best money spent on that rifle.

Looks like the five port Beast is the one. It also was the one I would chose for a .300 Win Mag. Most likely I will replace the brake on my 6.5RPM with one.

A Terminator of course. A T3 would match up pretty well, If you wanted black the T3B or the self timing TT or TA. As others have mentioned you have too small of brake for that caliber. I have Ryan's 5 port brake on my norma improved and it's a joy to shoot.

I would go with his 5 port brake, terminator T4, or a larger beast brake from MBM. Seems those 3 are at the top of the market for reducing recoil.

Another vote for nathan at MBM. We have 2 of his self timing beast brakes and they are awesome. 3 port on the 6.5 and the 5 port on the 300 win mag.
