At that weight, I assume felt recoil is going to be a bit more than in an old Mod 70 .243?

I'm looking for something that is a balance between light enough for my 9 year old to reasonably carry during the day, have light enough recoil she can shoot it now at 55lbs dripping wet, and have enough oomph to bring down hogs and whitetails.

There isn't much recoil. Not sure there would be any noticeable difference. The LOP is way too short for me so I feel more than someone it fits better would feel, and it's still pretty light.
