Does anyone think opening up a can of Anchovies or sardines on a stand could be a benefit ?

Didn't see you opened this up in the Coyote section. The scent would get picked up by them and might make them spooky.

While bow hunting in Colorado, I had a less than friendly encounter with a silver back and finally realized that I had a granola bar in my fanny pack and decided to share it with him to get him off the tree I was in.

They make their living with there nose so any kind of food can attract them. I have seen deer come to the smell of skoal tobacco. so it depends on the smell and the species.
