hello,
I'm looking to step up to magnum world. I want factory rifle that I don't have to change anything. Rifle manly use elk hunting distanced up to 600. And I would like to try my self reaching 1000 consistently on steel. 700P model lighter and cheaper that Sendero. Is it any benefits get Sendero over 700P?

Both are great factory rifles however if your looking for a Remington factory rifle I'm going to recommend the 5r gen 2. It's a little lighter then the sendero or the police and has a threaded barrel plus they just plan shoot great!

I don't own a 700p but my Sendero 300 shoot lights out! I do find it way too heavy for elk hunting where I live.
I a lot of hills where I hunt too. Any recommendations in solid rifle? I'm looking solid rifle that I don't have to swap stock or trigger.

I would look at the Remington CDL or the AWR in 300 win. Put a good trigger in it and bed the factory stock. I bet it'll shoot lights out!
I looked at AWR in Cabelas. Worst I saw it was stock touching barrel on left side, and other one has non working trigger:(

I would also take a good look at some of the bergaras , i have several friends with them and they seem to shoot real good.
Bergaras Premium are spendy, B14 line interesting. But they weigh as much as Sendero.

I have the 700P in 300WM, shoots flat out awesome. I have hit cold bore shots out to 850 and would hit minute of elk in perfect conditions with it at that far with the bergers I have it loaded with.
Seems heavy for backpacking but if you want to hump it up a mountain, have at it. Shooting it is no issue.

Thank you for sharing. Last year my rifle was 308 and weighed 14lb top with 6-30 scope. It was a pain to hike up and down. In last day I stumble on elk in thick woods 20 yards away. Elk gave me 5 seconds chance, but I wasn't able to take shot with 6 power optic :(
