I am having a 6.5 prc built.
Wanting to buy me a suppressor for it.
Trying to get something going pretty quick due to the crazy wait time.
I am new to the suppressor game. I'm needing some pointers and other info on which way to go and why as far as a suppressor goes.
I will use this rifle for hunting and some bench time.

TBAC 100% ! Get an Ultra 9 , or Ultra 7 if you're concerned with length. Get one in 30 cal , it'll be very versatile in the future if you want to use it on a 300 Norma or 223 .

TBAC is the gold standard, jump in and get your paperwork started ! Every day you fiddle around is another day you're not suppressed.

Heard that name a couple times.

I'll do more research on them..
thanks!

Seriously, no research required. Find a dealer that has the suppressor you want and buy it . Have it sent form 3 to your local dealer and fill out the appropriate forms along with prints and photos.

It's basically a lifetime purchase, don't let a few dollars get in the way of owning the best.

I'm not just going to go in a place and say I want a suppressor... let me have whatever. I research something to death before I make a decision lol

I have to know the good, the bad and the ugly and want real work experience. Not an I heard or a buddy said kinda feedback.

I think you misunderstood me, all I'm saying is get a TBAC ultra and enjoy. No matter how much research you do , they're the best in every respect.

Go ahead and waste a few weeks or months doing research, in the end TBAC is the clear winner. You won't get any younger doing research while you could've already filed a form 4 . I'm honestly trying to help , I've made my mistakes and do my my best to steer others in the right direction.

No misunderstanding. Just want to make sure I'm making the right choice with more feedback or hands on experiences.
Hard to go off of 1 persons feedback. Not saying you're not right I just need more fingers pointing that direction or the opportunity to see one in action before I spend the money.

Well as mentioned tbac is one of the top companies in silencers designed specifically for precision rifles. I have several cans and have tried out several others. My go to silencer with no doubt is TBAC ultra 9. I test everything and running the tbac compact brake suppressor Mount is bar none the best concerning POI shift for removal and installation. Do some searches and u will see not only are they one of the superior cans for precision but also the best customer service in the market as well.

I would do your research. I did and found that a Crux was what I thought was the best for the money.I can't tell you it's the best to buy because I only have one other suppressor and that is a Griffin. The 2 suppressors are really not comparable since they are for 2 different calibers.
Don't be afraid to call the manufacturer see how easy it is to get ahold of them see how quick they respond, and ask them lots of questions. All of the manufactures I talked to knew a lot about their suppressors and a ton about their competitors because they own and tested them when designing and building their own.

When doing my research I felt there was a ton of hype behind certain brands that had to do with good marketing campaigns.

That's my exact concerns...
I have shot a few and I can't say I disliked any of them. They all done their job. Some were heavier than others, some bulkier but I didn't dislike any of them.
I appreciate your response!

I have a Griffin Armament Paladin. I
like that I can use it on my 22lr up to .300 mag and service myself. The taper mounts have worked well but aren't cheap. POI is repeatable swapping between rifles for me.

As to the ThunderBeast , I called them....they told me it would be up to 6 months (backordered)before they will be giving serial #s to start the paperwork...then starts the wait...so the guy there told me it could be 18 MONTHS !!!!! Before it's in your hand. I'm hoping there will be divine intervention, but I doubt it.....rsbhunter

I have a SilencerCo Hybrid and love it. It will shoot anything from 22 to .458 and is also rated for full auto. Disassembly is easy and they have adapters to fit just about anything. I will likely own a Tbac at some point, but it will be for a specific rifle. My Hybrid is my fun can that I bounce around on different guns.
