Will be loading for a 300 rsaum in a model seven soon. Looking for load data. will be used for primarily for deer. Thanks

My current deer load is Rem brass, Fed 215, Barnes 150 TTSX and 64 Gr. R-17. This load is max in my M-7 and is 3/4" at 100 and 1.5 at 220 yards. FPS is 3150 in the factory 22" barrel.

Whats your twist rate? I used to load 215 bergers with n560. Was deadly accurate and was a touch over 2850 i believe. If i still had it i would be loading the 210vld to fit in a wyatts mag box and still give lots of room for powder.

I load 168 grain Barnes TTSX over 55.5 grains of RL15 out of an AR-10 and shoot .5" all day long. It drops elk in their tracks.

That's a interesting set up, never heard of that cartridge in a AR-10, I assume it's a custom build?

Actually no. Armalite made them for a while. 24" barrel, National Match trigger group. Really is a tack driver with that as well as a couple other loads. I even loaded a 130 grain TTSX at 3600 fps! They were discontinued due to gassing issues although, I reload and never had that issue.

Bought a model 7 stainless synthetic years back in 300 Saum .. One of the best kept secret rifles every made...I have no idea why it never caught on...almost impossible to find one for sale..

Instead of starting a new thread, I thought I would just revive this one. I picked up a nice used 700 BDL SS 300SAUM that someone did good job of bedding and trigger work on.
I am working first with the Barnes 130grn TTSX, Norma Brass, Fed 210M and 215, RL-17 and RS-Big Game.
Anyone else worked with these components?
