Kowa TSN-554 straight spotting scope. I bought this for my mountain goat hunt last year and it worked great, however for this season I really need a set of 15x binos more. Glass is perfect, body of scope has a few very minor rub marks from being carried in a backpack but I've adjusted the price accordingly. If you've been wanting a compact spotting scope that actually has good glass in it, this is the one. About the size of the razor 11-33 but way better glass. Perfect spotter for your backcountry hunts. Paid $1800 for it 13 months ago. Asking $1250 or trade towards high end 15x binos.

I've wanted one these for a while, I've always preferred the angled scopes that rotate. The kowa 553 doesn't rotate, so the 554 may be the better option......

I spend a lot of time glassing with binos on a tripod, so I went with the straight spotter so I could swap it back and forth with the binos without having to adjust the tripod. It's a really smooth transition.

This is a great price for this spotting scope. I want one but am very picky about looks and condition... This one is quite the temptation though!

This one has a few light rub marks from being in a backpack. It spent 7 days or so in a backpack during my Idaho mountain goat hunt last fall. The exterior coating on this is pretty rugged, but it's a slightly rough/grippy? Coating and it shows some light marks. If you're interested I can take some closer pics of those rub marks when I get home from work. The glass is absolutely perfect though.
