Hello,
I reached out to Hornady and they don't have any reloading data, I'm still waiting on VV to get back to me; in the meantime what have you used as a starting point for a ladder test?
I have a 300WM, 28in barrel Krieger #5

Have you done any search in this site to baseline from? For instance, https://www.longrangehunting.com/threads/300-win-mag-n570.220971/

I know that BROZ go to powder/bullet combo in his .300 WM is H1000/215 Berger but I also know he is a bigfan of the N570. N570 is hard to come by. Be patient, someone might share their recipe. Good luck!

Yes, I did, I couldn't find ELD-X bullets with N570, most people use Berger bullets.

VV got back to me, they got nothing.

Is your chamber cut with a longer freebore/throat to allow seating this bullet out further than SAAMI spec?

I'm using an OAL of 3.600" but finding that VVN-570 (at least my lot) is a little slow for this combination. I have been running Retumbo and Norma 217 with excellent results at the upper end node.

I would say yes, based on the fact that i can seat Berger VLD 210 hunting at 3.700".
What weight are you using with 3.600 OAL? and what length is your barrel?

I've been shooting a lot of the 215 Bergers with some 230s thrown in on occasion. But mine is a only 26" as it's a field/hunting rifle. In and around 2,950 at the very highest node.

How much powder did you use to start with?

I started lower than I would normally, 77.0 with both weights but I stopped the 230s at 82.0 and the 215s at 83.0 according to my notes. I didn't see any obvious signs of pressure but I simply ran out of room in the case.

I have the .300 Norma Mag almost finished so I'll probably include some tests with the N-570, maybe.

I started with a match chamber in my .300 with dismal results... trying to push the 208 ELD at 3000 FPS. Pushed the throat out to .250 which is long...seated the bottom of the boatail at the bottom off the neck on my case. Now with 78 grains of H1000 I'm getting the accuracy and velocity I needed. The 26 inch bbl is pushing the 208 at approximately 3025 FPS at the muzzle.

N560 is the ideal burn rate for the 300wm and these bullets. Load the 200 to 3100 fps or the 212 to 3000 fps and you will be at max pressure.

Also, H4831 is also as equally as good but about 100 fps slower. H4831 will be easier on your barrel also. N560 is a high energy hot burning powder - HOE 4020 compared to HOE of 3870 for H4831.

Broz ended up at max of 82.2gr of N570, 215 Berger, 3100fps in his win mag with his seating depth. That should get you a start point.
