Changing Ballistic Tip to Accubond

Talked with Nosler several months ago on this subject and the tech told me they are the same bullet only one has a bonded core and the other does not I have shot them side by side and if there is a difference it would be very marginal as I don't see any difference on paper with the same load

They have for me.

Let's see;

Same jacket
Same overall length
Same shape
Same bearing surface
Same boattail.

I don't meant to be a contrarian, and maybe I've just been lucky, but I'm curious what the 100 differences are @BallisticsGuy - very much value your contributions here!
same published bc too (both inflated)
Same load data and published velocity for identical loads by nosler.

But of course, the accubonds all have white tips and the b-tips are all different colours. And if hornady has taught us anything it's that the tip is all important! The white tips will not heat up in the sunlight as much and won't melt as fast. This is the single biggest advantage of accubond bullets over all the others. (Hoping my sarcasm is obvious)

I have used 95 grain NBTs and 115 grain NBTs in my .243s and my .25-06, respectively for several years and still do. Plus, I was able to get a really good deal on them from Midway and stocked up. Anyway, my first experience with the Accubond was in my 6.5-284 (130 grain) and man does it shoot! I use the same bullet in my 6.5 ($@&#%Moore) and it shoots great out of that too. The terminal performance does not disappoint from either bullet, either. I was a bit surprised to see that the Accubond is subject to limited production and seasonal availability so if you do adopt it as your "go-to" bullet, stock up while you can!

Well, then the obvious questions that have to be asked are:

1) Why haven't they discontinued the white tips?

2) Why don't they offer a rainbow- tipped option?

HELLO people!!!!
