Powder scale

So, I want to get into reloading because I am fussy and want accuracy/performance and the ability to shoot bullets not commercially available in some cases. I am not doing it to save money and quality will be more important than speed in my decisions.

So, with that said.....which setup should I go with:

Tuned Lyman M5 with RCBS Uniflow and Trickler ($400)
Or
RCBS Chargemaster Lite ($255)

Thoughts?

Start with a good beam scale and work up to the high end scales.
If you are just starting out, slow and easy will keep you out of trouble and help you develop good loading habits.

At this time,speed is not recommended and is not advisable. the term "Keep it simple" is recommended.

J E, so you suggest the tuned M5 beam scale? Do you have an opinion on using the Lee scoops instead of the Uniflow?

Like everyone, I have an opinion and I would recommend that you get a
Real good Powder Measure like the Harrell https://www.google.com/search?q=har....69i57j0l5.26584j0j8&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
and be done with buying powder measures. In my opinion, it is the best I have ever used (I have tried just about every one until I tried this one.

As mentioned, be sure to level any balance bean scale and use the calibrated weights to verify.
