6.5 creedmoor reloading

Lol, drinking from a firehouse....Basically we gave him so many answers it's almost like starting from scratch. And the loads are all over the map in terms of burn rate vs bullet weight. RL16 & 26 with medium bullets h4350 with heavy bullets, 4198(?), varget, and so on. Anyone tried Win 760 with Barnes 123s? H4831?
Most used are probably H4350, RL 16&17, RL26,(which is a magnum powder that many said is too slow for th 6.5 cm), Varget, H4831.

Personally, don't think you can make a bad load for a Creedmoor. I've head just plain dirt works well to.

I have the exact same rifle and I finally nailed down the perfect load for my rifle. See below

• Lapua brass
• CCI 450 primers
• 40gr of H4350
• 140gr ELD-Match
• 0.015 off the lands
• 2750fps (somewhat low velocity compared to when I loaded hot with 46.9gr of RL26 to get 2925fps but I increased my accuracy by a ton by switching to this load)
• ES of 9 (10 shots)
• SD of 11 (10 shots)

The below targets were two 5 shot groupings at 100 yards.

That's definitely a great group,I'm gonna have to try that load with H4350, other people have said RL 17 with 130 grain bullets I'm not sure if you have any experience with that.

I like 140to 143 gr bullets the most. And use 4451 arournd 43 gr seems to be a good node loaded to mag length if you can. On a different site there is a great thread on using RL26, but you can go fast and quickly over charge.

What neck turning kit are you using? I had bought a sinclair awhile back, never used it... looking to get the K&M kit.

hi I'm new here but I just bought a Brownings hells canyon long range in 6.5 creedmoor and I'm gonna reload. I was wondering what would be the best bullet weight and powder for best velocity and accuracy?

I can't remember what the listed max load is for H4350 but make sure to start lower and work up. And no I don't have any experience with RL17.

I've had great results with 42.6-42.7gr of RL17, behind 139gr Scenars/BR2 primers; COAL OF ~2.82".
Getting ~2840fps with very low es/sd.
