Reloder 26

I've been stingy about loading with RL26 for about two years now.
I was beginning to think that my rifle barrels that run on RL26 would last forever.

$32 for shipping, $35 for hazmat-- geeze brunos really gouges on haz shipping fees
You should have seen what they did to powder prices when we had a HUGE storage during the Obummer administration.
I've been guilty of calling Lester Bruno a crook. I was just mad.

It happens. It's frustrating when powders become scarce or someone mentions a possible shortage and the knee jerk reaction is to buy up as much as one can afford to prevent running out of the powder that your gun likes. I had just gotten my 338 and worked up a load with 26 and boom, it's gone. Lol. Got lucky and the local gun store had 8 1#ers. Guess the next scare is H1000 and Retumbo?

I was going to order until I saw the Hazmat and shipping charges. Maybe one of our local stores was right when they told me they would have RE 26 very soon. I'll wait I still have some.
So I ordered a jug of RL33 and a jug of RL26. My total for everything (shipping and hazmat)was $429.55.

$429.55÷16= $26.84 a pound delivered to my door. Thats not really that bad considering Cabelas wants $27.99 a pound before anything is added.

I didn't think it was that pricey so I ordered the exact same thing, found out only one gun likes 8133 so back to RL26 and 33.

Which cartridge and bullet likes 8133?? Nothing I've tried liked it!
I've got a 28 built on a 700 action, Lilja barrel that likes it behind 195's. 1/2 moa and pretty decent ES and SD. Don't have numbers off top of my head (I'm at work). My 338 LM with 300 Berger's didn't seem to like it. 3 touching and 2 flyers....1 1/2" away flyers. Gave up on it and went back to RL 33. Might give it a whirl in a 300 RUM
