Do you name your rifles?

My daughter and I were talking about one of my rifles this weekend, and she was confusing it with another one I own. I realized that I was always referring to them by one of the following
1. Manufacturer
2. Caliber
3. Cartridge

I thought I need to give them some real names.

How many of you give pet names to your rifles? Let's hear about "old Bertha" or whatever pet names you have!
I have only named 4 of mine, the 4 I use for prairie dog hunting. I call them the Four Horsemen. Because when they show up it isn't good for the pdogs.
Ruger 10/22 Target
CMMG AR15 .204 Ruger
Bushmaster AR15 .223
Savage model 12 22-250

hahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha

no.

not since I was in the service... and that was a howitzer.

As a pilot, precise nomenclature is generally our OCD way. But, the late great outdoor writer from Houston, Bob Brister had an ugly ole rifle with what was new then ... a fiberglass stock and a Rust-Oleum camo paint job...he called it "Doctor Death". I liked that so much that I named by Rem 700 7x57 Mt. Rifle "Death Stick" and it has politely quieted everything in Texas except liberals.

the 8MM RAZOR is coming next

i knew an older dude that kept an illegal sawed off 12 gauge in the trunk of his car. he called it his "problem solver". i thought that was funny and scary as he seems like the kind of dude that would lose his sh!t if you changed lanes without signaling in front of him.

Only gun I ever named was for a friend of mine. Me and another buddy bought a muzzleloader for a friend who was down on his luck from a divorce and didn't have a muzzleloader nor money to buy one.

We bought one and painted it pink with green flames on it and wrote flamer on the side and gave it to him for a present.
Still hangs on his wall with a picture of us at that hunting camp.

Memories. We all had a good laugh. Our mission was accomplished as it brought his spirts up. Lol.
