Greetings. I am relatively new to east Tx (from S. Louisiana) and haven't yet located a place to shoot past 300 yards, but if you are ever in east Texas, holler and we can talk shooting over a cup of coffee or something.

Hi Armando. I live in Fort Worth. I really like Triple C range in Cresson. They have 8 or 9 lanes out to 1,000 yards, a 2,000 yard range, and a couple of 100/200 sight in ranges. It's not super cheap, but it's the best place I've found so far. I can PM you if you're interested in meeting up sometime.

I'm in McAllen. There are a couple of places here for long range shooting but most are on private ranches also. Luckily my buds place has a range setup for 1200 yds.

Still settling in to Temple/Killeen area. Temple Gun Club goes to 300 in theory, but it's awkward as the targets are fixed and there are shooting positions at 100, 200, and 300. Can't use the longer range positions if someone is already at 100. Longer ranges have priority Tuesday mornings, but I'm at work then. So functionally, 100 yards.

Best of the West in Liberty Hill has a 1,000 yard range, but they are currently in conflict with a local developer who is complaining about bullets leaving the range. Really hoping they get back on line.

Triple C range in Cresson!! On Hwy 171 4.5 miles north of 377 toward Weatherford - great place to shoot. Pistol Bays, Rifle Range out to 1000, Rifle Range out to 2000 & a multi position range out to about 600 (with obstacles) if you compete and need to practice.

Armando, I am in El Paso. I think it is just a little over 600 miles from you, but we are still in Texas.
