Finally got around to trying the RL26 with the 200 gr ELDX in my Sendero 300WM above the load data that is published since there were absolutely no pressure signs up to the 74.0 max load. I tiptoed my way up the ladder with 74.0, 74.2, 74.6, 74.8 and 75.0. Even at 75.0 I do not see any pressure signs, bolt lift nice and easy, primer edges still rounded, no pressure marks on the base of the brass so it was a nice surprise. Every single load shot extremely well. One of the curious loads was 74.4 where I shot 4 rounds and they all chronographed at 2969 fps. That was a first for me to have 4 consecutive rounds at same velocity. All ES and SD's were at or below 10 which was another nice surprise. AT 75.0, the load avg 3010 fps with ES 10 and 5 SD. Granted these are not statistically significant due to number of rounds but encouraging to say the least for finding the hunting load that I wanted. Pretty much can choose any one of these and be happy. I will probably choose the 74.4 load since with zero ES and zero SD not sure if I can improve on that. Hopefully I can load again to same precision. I know I can go higher but at over 3000 fps I don't see the need to push any further. I need to stretch it out to see how it does down range but I think it will be a shooter load for sure.

Now to find more RL26 .

I ended up at 74.5 and the exact velocity for a guys savage and the 200's. Its were it shot the best so I left it alone he was happy.
