Trigger upgrade for hunting?

Title sort of says it but what triggers do you all run for a hunting rifle? My current rifle is coming with the factory X-Mark trigger from Remington but from what I've read about them it sounds like I'll want to upgrade it. So while I wait for my barrel and receiver to show up I figured I'd find a trigger to install. The rifle is being built off a brand new left handed Remington 700 receiver.

I like the TT and Timney. They are both fairly easy to install and adjustable. Both a big improvement over the factory. Call each manufacturer for lefty availability.

I would try adjusting the factory trigger first. There are good ones and bad ones. I've had both. Plenty of good replacements out there if you first find it to be a shooter. I do have a Geissele in one of my 700's and it is fantastic!

I do not find or notice any difference due to design of the shoe.

I have only used triggers with a curved shoe. Not sure I'd want to try a straight shoe at this point. A straight shoe "seems" like it might be more applicable to a target rifle. JMO

I use to run Timnney and they are good but I really like the TriggerTech. I have 4 of them now and 5 Timnney.
