You should probably start your own thread. But from what I can tell based on research and your graphs, you're too hot.

39.6 is probably the upper end of your middle node. I would go back and test 39.0 - 39.6 grains.

Thanks for your reply.
My apologies for publish in this thread. Will start a new one with more information

Great marketing but also nice ballistics, rifle offers ...
For me, might replace 308Win for some uses and/or fill some space between 308 and 300WinMag
The 6.5 CM is just the 260 Rem done correctly.

Lot's of folks are part of the 6.5 CM "hate the hype" club. It is what it is....drive on and keep whacking steel.

True..... I'm in that hate the hype club.... but I'm a purest and i believe a man with a 308 that knows what he's doing is hard to beat......

The 308 is my favorite cartridge. I'm a die hard fan. I have never owned a 6.5 CM. The only 6.5 I've ever owned was the 6.5x55.

Funny thing is though, I have so many friends with them. I have helped them with thier loads and shot and called wind with them so many times, that I'm just as familiar with the 6.5CM as the 308.

I have avoided the 6.5 trend long enough now to see quite a few gravitate BACK to 308 for a variety of reasons. I have such an investment in 308 that I doubt I'll ever switch.

That's me exactly

Ok.... just got back from the range... I loaded up 45.5gr and seated bullets at .005" to .075" off the lands.... I can't say I'm not happy. There were a couple I made a **** shot but there is a couple real decent groups, granted it's only 3 shots but it looks pretty consistent.....thoughts?
