I think it may depend on the cartridge of choice, and range limits. The Hammers, Cutting Edge, Chinchagas, and Rocky's come in multiple weights, plus there are Accubonds and the likes.
I think I'm gonna try to get the 325 Chinchagas to 3300 fps in my 30" barrel, I'm hoping it'll get there with RL26. It should match the 375 at 3150 fps that I'm running out to about 1500 yards. Except for about 400-500 ftlbs of energy, but when you're around the 8,000 mark who is counting?:D
As soon as I get the switch barrel thing going I'll try to get the 411 Hammers to 3100+ with the 36" faster twist barrel. It'll no longer be a "light-ish weight" Cheytac.
I'm still searching for a lighter stock than the A5 Supermag I have. Nobody I've contacted wants to mess with the larger Stiller and larger cartridge, at least nothing lighter.

I have a handful of Cheytac actions, BAT, Stiller single shot or repeater, Proof and Bartlein barrels on hand. Here are a couple 375 Cheytacs that I just finished, both are for sale.

Carbon or standard fill on the manners? Jewell bottom safety I'm assuming. Have you weighed that particular rifle. 1-10 twist? How have your previous builds shot?

Whats it weight and barrel length, what bullet did you set up for? I have no familiarity with this format

I have shot one of his cheytac's and it shot amazingly well, the Terminator brake tamed it down to the point you could spot most of your own shots. Very fun!

It's a heavy fill on the Manners. Jewell trigger, 10 twist, 16 lbs. They all shoot great, 1/2 MOA guarantee just like any other custom rifle. many builds up on my gallery at my website, lots of repeat customers. There's no reason a big cartridge can't shoot tiny groups. This target is out of a 375 Cheytac build with a Bartlein, that was just sighting in the scope, 6 rounds down the barrel. One shot, couple clicks down, three more on top of each other.

30" barrel, 16 lbs. I'm not sure what you mean by format. No matter the brand, it's still a barrel and action bedded in a stock. Most guys shoot the heavier Cutting Edge bullets. I've shot 410 gr and the way down to 350 gr match kings.

Have watched this topic with interest. I would not want to shoot one that light unless on a tripod or bench. I shoot a 26 lb. Beast-2 now in a wildcat .408 configuration shooting 421 g solids at 3030 or a little higher. I cannot imagine it used as a spotter. Watch for cuts around the eyes and eyebrows!
