Super article and great reading. You make it sound like just about any dummy like me could even go out there and do the same thing you did. Having the right personality and "gift of gab" helps and I've got a feeling you've got an advantage over most of us.:):D:)

Keep up the good work and if you've got more stuff in your head to write, just tell Len to get it put up on here so we can read it.

Jim,
Good job! I've use the "hon" expression, like: Hon, would you bring us more coffee... but Dear?... man you don't want to get shot! :D

Good luck.

You Would Never Away That Cheap Hunting Mn

If you want to hunt SE Minnesota, plan on spending around $150, to hunt deer or turkey. If your from the city forget it, I had the local farmers tell me they don't like cityslickers!

I don't get out of state for my hunting but I do a fair amount of coyote hunting. I found several ranchers who would not allow big game hunting were willing to let someone varmint hunt. After finding we were respectful of their property and knew what we were doing, their attitude on the big game hunting changed. Also, Jim refers to "The local watering hole". The local coffee shop early in the morning is also often a good source of information.
