i'm getting hammered by rain rite now. hope it soaks in enuf by weekend to hunt.

i don't get to the coast much, but thoz fish remind me of a tuna trip i took some years back. not having fished anywhere but texas lakes, i didn't know not to lip salt water fish. i cot a trigger fish and he almost took my thumb off. there's a pshopped pic around somewhere the guys made with my 'detached' bloody thumb in his mouth.

djones, not looking good for the weather. Now raining here in Tucson and it's headed your way. 20 MPH winds from SW and again headed your way. You may have to postpone hunting for a while til this crazy weather settles down. Better be looking for a indoor hobby for a few days.

Hatrick, Great picture of your bait, but where's the fish? Heck we catch bigger fish than that off the ocean front piers here in Arizona.

Was fishing the Cowlitz river in Washington State and hooked a big salmon. Fought it up and down the river for 3 hours and the other fishermen were giving me the right of way. Some of them could see the fish and were in awe from their comments! Finally brought it up to a sandbank along the river and when I pulled it out of the river and up on the sand, it was so big, the river level dropped 3". Biggest fish I ever caught except for those of you that bought into the story!

Guess it's time to hang it up for the night. djones isn't going to be hunting for a while if this weather front I'm under, moves East like it was earlier tonight. Major severe rainstorms just West of him and moving his way. Guess it's up to those of you that have decent hunting weather to keep the photo's coming, if you can.

hatrack... kel-tec. cool thing is it holds a cpl mags underneath the stock. foldout handguards make a cool bipod... if you don't mind that it's attached directly to the barrel. probably duzznt make any accuracy diff at hunting ranges. have a bud that had one. wouldn't group very well and he sold it.

DJ, You are right about the accuracy as I never remember anything smaller than 2" groups at 50yds. That is why we bait less than that. My contender is much better but he is the one with the contacts. My contender will not shoot anything over 60gr to pig moa. It key holes 75gr.

As far as the weather, weathermen are only accurate 38% of the time. We'll see!

You know djones, sometimes you remind me of Saint Patrick! He was credited with chasing all the snakes out of Ireland and even now they celebrate this achievement as St. Patrick's day!

The fact that there weren't any snakes in Ireland to begin with, except those seen by certain pub crawlers who over imbibed, seems to be irrelevant! He must have been a Politician or had a darn good PR staff!

You on the other hand, keep promising to show us multiple pictures of hogs, and then seem to always have an excuse why there are only a couple of pictures. When we look at the video's, the darn things are knee deep out there, but it's always "Bad ammo, too cold, Scope died on me or I'm suffering from a bad case of jitters from being attacked by a Butterfly". The jitters, I believe! But not from being attacked by anything that doesn't come out of a jug!

I suggest you go hire a PR staff and maybe someday our Great, Great, Great grandkids may be celebrating national DJONES day for chasing all the Elephants out of Texas! The fact that there aren't any indigenous Elephants in Texas, would again be irrelevant, but that's the way Politics and Public Relations work!

i'm having problems. i just got the sammy 10+ and they didn't have a case for it. damm thing is so slick i kept it in my back pocket for safety. yep you guessed it. i sat on it. of course i have bunz of steel with those dimples on the sides that women say hold the promise of power. well the fone was no match for me. that might impact my ability to post pics if i don't replace it by fri. fortunately.. no less that 10 wemmin are offering to get me a new one just so they won't be out of touch with me for the weekend. we'll see...

"Buns of steel"?....More like cheeks of lead, from the pictures you are supposed to be posting and aren't! Here we go with the excuses earlier than usual!

I asked a few ladies about men having dimples on their butts and they said that only grossly overweight men have dimples on their butts, along with jiggly cheeks, whatever that is! The best explanation I got was comparing the individual to a Jello filled beach ball with the resulting shimmy when they walked! They also said that the dimples indicated that the guy probably will have extensive problems with flatulence, especially during times of intimacy!

So shall we recap your problems? Better not, since LRH would probably throw me off for sure if I described all your maladies, excluding a broken phone!

Of all the excuses you have ever come up with, this one is the lamest for non-performance, although I did hear a few ladies complain about the your same non performance problem in other areas! BTW, the 10 women that you are expecting phone calls from are Bill collectors you have promised to pay this weekend!

I am going to be off the site for a week or maybe longer. I have some problems within the family to take care of up North and I need to be there to help. Since it involves an 8 year old Great Grandkid, I need to go. Since I won't have any way to post, or even read posts, you all, especially djones, get a vacation. Am flying out tomorrow, so have fun while i'm gone and the last one out, turn out the lights!

Having a barbeque on Sunday and had a request for some hog. This one fit the menu.

Nice BBQ size. That would be great on a spit or in the ground.
Our weather is clearing up some and the non resident pigs are moving to heavier cover and the elk are moving back in for the summer. I'm actually going to have to hunt if I want to kill piggies.
The pigs and the elk don't seem to get along.

John, I screwed up and posted 2 pictures of the same pig. Tonight I will hunt the bigger ones for sausage. Most of the pigs here are between 80 and 125lbs. 80 here today and se wind so it opens up 2 places to hunt.It has been blowing here pretty good, to hard to fish.

Do you get big herds? Ours usually run in 2s and 3s after their weened. The Lions take out quite a few littler ones. Our bigger ones run up to around 200 but I've seen boars around 350 or so.
