Engineered for a 3lb scope on a 50bmg. WAY overkill for most anything else.

Seekins is just as good, and far lighter. Just add a third ring if you are concerned about inertial forces.

Hey all. In your opinion, What is the toughest, most stable base ring combo that you have used. I know alot of you will say "heck I always used weaver or millet or etc." and so have I. But I want the best, toughest, most stable rig out there. I spent 500 on the rifle, 600 on the scope so I am not afraid of spending money on a good system.
Try the DNZ rings. They have a one price base and are billet milled. I have yet to find a set that needed to be lapped.
Another reason I like them is that they are strong and light weight. Just my 2 cents

Leupold bases and rings. I am also impressed with the Duramount concept. I never trusted the Weaver style or picitinny rail style, but I know many swear by it. Once a Leupold ring is attached to a base, that baby is not moving.
