Who's got one? Midway has open box specials so I ordered a couple, along with the 2200 range finder. Seems cool, I don't expect the glass to be any better than my vortex crossfire honestly, but it seems like an easy way to start getting into long range target shooting. If the glass quality turns out to be acceptable, I might even consider getting the range finder binos when they're available, none in stock the couple places I looked online today.
I searched the history and couldnt find anybody commenting on actually owning one yet, so just curious who has one and how is it?

I have a scope and pre-ordered the binos but still waiting on delivery. Haven't mounted scope as it seems pointless without RF/Binos, so can't comment on glass.

I will say that Midway's prices, even on opened box, are not that great. I've seen some places sell at least the 6.5-20 scope brand new & sealed at same price as Midway's open box. Midway is rarely price competitive actually. And if you get an unhappy customer service rep on a bad day then good luck to you because no one will try to work things out and that rep just digs in. I shop at better retailers and avoid Midway.

I looked into getting a setup. The 4.5-14 and the 2400bdx rf. Unfortunately here in Idaho (only state to do so) outlaws any electronic device that is incorporated into a scope.

I looked around at as many places as I could think of before buying the ones from Midway, I should have done a better job searching it sounds like.

I buy stuff from Midway quite often. I usually search around and at times I notice they aren't competitive, but a lot of the time they are. I can't speak towards customer service because so far they have sent me what I ordered and sent a quality product. I am not saying they are the bees knees, but I don't find them to be as bad as J3n. Not to say that he hasn't had really bad experiences with Midway. I just haven't had them.

As far as the scopes and RFs go, I am in the same boat as Backcountry_IDN. I live in Idaho as well, so all we can have is a "battery powered or tritium illuminated reticle". Make sure to let us know how they work though!

Hey bud, I been looking around for the past 15 mins trying to find a better deal. It's already too late on this one, but if you dont mind sharing some alternate retailers with good deals I would appreciate it. We're all pretty much at the mercy of the almighty Google when looking for something online. But there's so many online retailers out there who all sell everything at the same price it's hard to sift through them. I've ended up buying most everything gun related from midway, brownells, opticsplanet, and impact guns. I've had pretty good experiences with them all so far, but always open to something better.

It sounds like he has just had a bad experience or two with midway and their customer service and is taking this opportunity to guide your business elsewhere...i don't blame him, I do the same thing sometimes. Having said that midway has been good to me, so I don't have anything to add.

I am also an idaho guy, so this SIG setup doesn't do me any good. I have had mixed experiences with Sig optics to begin with, so I am interested in hearing how your goes.

Well, for one, they 6.50-20 BDX are $599 at Sportman's Warehouse right now, brand new in box. I saw that in store today while looking at a rifle. Their web site appears to be sold out but it was there on sale in the store.

For Midway, in addition to **** poor customer service, I've never found them to have the best price. They just had some items that you may not be able to easily find elsewhere. After they overcharged me by removing items from my order and not reducing their over priced shipping, I tried for weeks to reason with their customer service rep to get that refunded. I even showed screencaps with proof of the lower shipping costs with the fewer items, and they refused. I tried many times and gave them multiple chances, even offered to just take store credit, but their rep was dug in. I eventually had to dispute the charges and now I don't shop there. And, yes, I do try to discourage others from having such bad customer service.

As frustrating as Optics Planet can be, when they forgot to include an item in a shipment I had an apology call from them before I even received the package. They may take time to get things but their customer service is way ahead of Midway.

In the end, any price Midway has can be found as well or better from other shops with much better support and a customer friendly service approach.

Unfortunately sportsman warehouse here in san antonio closed down several years ago...maybe about the time Bass Pro showed up, I dont really remember.
Good to know about Midway prices and their customer service though.
