What are you guys using powder wise for 30 grain bullets? I am currently using re15 with 30 golds and the groups are decent but thinking there is a better combo out there

I'm running 8208 XBR in my 17-204 with 32gr Reeds. So far so good! XBR's also been great in my 223 bolt guns with heavy bullets.

RL15 has worked great in my 17 Tac. 27 and 30 Golds. 23.3 gr of H322 and 30 Golds is the ticket right now

Just got my hands on some Big Game. Velocity went from 3995 with the xbr to 4120 with the 28.9gr of BG, went up a bit more before getting a slight crater on my primers. I think XBR might be just a touch fast for the 32grs. Using 4gr more powder so the case fill is also better in my 204 case.

Loading 27.7 BG under a 30 gr. Nagel for 4125 fps.Big Game has been relatively stable in cold temps for a ball powder.

Guys, hate to hijack, but where are you getting the Gold's. Heard Kindler sold his stuff to someone that never started making them again. Are they old, or are they available somewhere again?

The guy that bought them is in texas. His name is montana mize, some folks bought some last year including myself when he was advertising all over, havent heard much in a while.
