Same rifle but Does that mean same recoil?

Hi guys..,
Im trying to understand recoil better so if .....
308 with 150 grain
30-06 with 150 grain
Both 3000 fps
Rifles the same and with 26 inch barrel

How would the recoil be?

Let me know if i need to specify more or rephrase the question... thanks for the input

Cheers! Recoil is inertia, so it has everything to do with

weight of the bullet x muzzle velocity.

The thing to remember is powder is part of the ejected mass, so it must be included with the weight of the bullet.

Behind the rifle, we are not feeling the force of explosion, so much as the resistance of the mass we're pushing.
