Hello,

I am the original owner of this Cooper Model 56 in 257 Weatherby Magnum. Excellent shape and has less than 70 rounds down the tube.

Specifics:

Work performed by Hunt The Distance
Factory trigger tuned down to 2 lbs.
Custom Ammo - Have the load data. Sale will include 52 loaded ammo and 24 pieces of brass.
Velocity - Shoots the 115 Grain Bergers at 3,333 fps.
Drop Data - Have this data and is plugged into my Gunwerks Rangefinder. Verified to past 1,000 yards.

I have included a picture of the load work up. Velocity is 3,333 with an Extreme spread of 5 FPS. Rifle is very accurate. I have included two 100 yard targets; one with Gunwerks Ammo (.301 group) and one with a custom load that was quite a bit better.

The drop data has been verified way out and it is plugged into my rangefinder. New owner will get all of this data for their setup. In essence, this rifle just needs a scope and is turn key from there.

I typically keep rifles forever, but have run out of room in the safe and have some customs coming together. I have never had this rifle in the field; just at the range a few times.

I live in Austin, Texas and my phone number is 512-632-3198. Happy to do a face to face if that works better for anyone.

Asking $1,875 plus shipping.

Bryan Lewis

One more quickie: Is it a blind magazine or detachable box magazine? Thanks

Someone had asked me if this rifle had aluminum pillars in it.

I called Cooper and this Model 56 has:

Full Length Monolithic Aluminum Frame. Goes almost to the front swivel.

Glass Bedding from the front ring of the receiver to the first inch of the barrel.

Hope that is helpful.

Bryan

TTT.

Would consider trading for either a Gunwerks G7 5.5-22x50 scope or a Leopold VX6HD 3-18x50.
