So I bought a Browning X-Bolt Western Stainless Hunter in 28 Nosler @ a local gun show today. When I got home I started looking for ammo and haven't been able to find any. Does anyone know where I might score some. Also if someone out there has this particular rifle what shoots well out of it;
thanks.

No doubt i will get to that as it is my craft... would like to have a box of ammo first...25 pieces of brass is 60 bucks.
Be aware. I have a buddy who I did load development for on his 28 Nosler. He had 2 boxes of factory Nosler Trophy Grade ammo he had used to get going. Then bought 3 more boxes of Nosler virgin brass. Brass content between the 3 boxes of new brass were within 2 grains total (actually, I have gone through about 950 pieces of new Nosler brass, and all of those, from various lots, have all been within 5 grains of each other). The factory brass was about 30 grains heavier after decapping and cleaning them. So they are not even close to the same as the new brass.

I don't know of anywhere that has it in stock. I'll keep my eyes out. I think you can backprder through swfa

I think all we can do for right now is as above, keep our eyes open for brass and ammunition. The problem was when brass was in short supply, reloaders bought the loaded ammunition just to get the brass! We just got through this same type of event with Berger when many of their bullets becoming unavailable for many months. We will start to see brass and ammo filling the pipeline soon, I hope.

Check with your buddies and see if they have any to spare or share reloading expenses with those who have a stock of components. Work together to solve the shortage until Nosler makes up the shortfall.

Regards.
