I recently took over as chief for the Beattyville (Kentucky) Fire Department. We are 100% volunteer. I have been dealing with trying to fix years of mismanagement and spending on needless items. We only have one truck that functions properly right now, but have like $12,000 in un-needed specialty valves (would sell them but since they were bought with state aid funds it would cause issues with the state). Anywho, we have our local festival coming up in about a month and since we only have $1,500 in the bank (of which I donated most of through getting the FD into my companies donation match program) I looked in my safe for something to donate. Only thing that wasn't crazy expensive and new in box was a Henery break action 243 winchester. I donated the rifle to the station for raffling off. If anyone would like to help out a really needy fire department (we are in the top 10 poorest counties in the nation with no economy, thus no tax base), and take a chance on winning a pretty nice rifle, it would be greatly appreciated.

Shipping for anyone not local will be provided to FFL that accepts from individual. If anyone has any concerns I use the same username on accurateshooter and snipershide, have 100% positive feedback.
