I'll be doing some development with the 147 and rl-26 in some Peterson brass. I lost almost 100 fps switching to it from hornady in case anyone wonders why they cant get the velocity that other guys get if your using heavier brass.

I did my velocity testing with reloader 26. Here is the powder charge and the velocity. 26 inch Mcgowen barrel on a savage action.

No obvious pressure signs. I think I will try 47.5,48 and 48.5 assuming it will fit in the case lol. All testing with a LabRadar

if I can get close to those ridiculous numbers Prieto9000 got.

Decided to do a home mod myself as I bring a old 3 base lathe to life. Savage 110 accustock striped.... glove fit bedded, criterion 24" barrel and tried but, bolt body from a lightweight hunter( I just like the flutes ) extended bolt handle. 10 th off lands hit my second node right at max! 49.9 pulls a solid 1/2 MOA at 3060. Mindypi this is a stab at a diy hunting rig. My custom 6.5 x284 is scary, but if headed down my path. I have tested the creedmoor extensively on mild 3/8 steel ( free). Creedmoor looses gas at 5.... 6.5 x 284 still pierced plates..... but we all knew that. I haven't in all honesty checked the plate performance yet with the 135's, but it seems to rock hard. Added.... that velocity was off my Lab radar... during load development my chrono was 30 fps off.

Ok so I have a one off custom for my daughter with a 26 bartlien that shoots sub MOA with factory ammo. I tuned a round of 127. Lrx for that gun... money! With my build I thought let's see what these 135 Bergers do..... it's seriously a monster! I'm tuning factory barrels to over3k with 140 bergers in the 6.5x284's ... but **** close second on rel 26 and 135's. I would chamber up if I needed more juice after 3k for the creed....just my 2 bits

What speed are you getting on the 127's? I've experienced high pressure with anemic velocity (considering bullet weight). I can push 140eldm's faster with less signs of pressure. I would like to make the 127 lrx work, but I can't seem to just the velocity loss.

In my 26" Browning (6.5 Creed) I used 42.0gr of RE17 in Lapua cases to get 2,920 ft/sec with an SD of 6.

I finished my ladder test work up to find pressure with RL26. I found it at 48.5 grains, It kicked it out at 3092!
47.5 gave me 2960, 48 gave me 3027 and 48.5 at 3092.
Felt the need to clarify. I was over pressure at 48.5 and had flattened primer and light bolt lift. 48 grains looks good after checking it with magnifying glass. Elevation was 7000 feet and it was 42 F. Just so all the info is here.

I have a 6.5 creedmoor with a 26" barrel. Been reading about the high velocities achieved with reloader 26. Claims as high as 3000 fps with 140s.
I'm like to hear more success stories and what your data is for it.
I'm also wondering how temp stable reloader 26 is?

I just left the range, had to see what all the fuss was about. Great accuracy between 47-47.5 grains and velocity was awesome. 47 averaged 2,922 FPS and stacked 5 shots right on top of each other.

It opened up from there 48-48.5 didn't group great but not horrible, about 1 moa and 2978 FPS.

I never hit pressure signs but don't think I'll try and push it harder. I'll play a little more with that 47-47.5 range. That's more velocity than I ever thought I'd see out of a Creedmoor and not why I got one so no reason to keep going. I'm excited about 2900+ and precision. Works for me!

Barrel is 26" 1/7 twist, oal 2.880" with CCI 450

I used the Berger 135 grain published data as reference and went from there
