I know minox is not a rifle optic that gets much attention on these forums ,..but I just wanted to give you a brief information on my latest encounter.I have asked many questions about my minox scope and getting long range zero which many of experience long range precision shooters have given me super feed back ecspicially since I have very limited moa adjustments.Anhow this is the best piece of glass I personally owned and was super proud of it,so my youngest son and I went local shooting range and he was in at 100 yards in 3 shots we allowed plenty of time between shots action open and every 6 shot ran a jag through the barrel my groups got worse and worse and by the 15 round wast even hitting paper or the target board at 50 yards

Iam sorry I forgot to mention calibers we both are shooting 300 rum mine being a stainless steel rem 700 brakes 26" barell my son was shooting same caliber in Winchester model 70 classic stainless unbraked. My optic ia a minox zx5ix25x56mm mu sons an osprey 6x24 x50mm.
I contacted minox customer service who told me to contact Blaser usa ,I asked how long the expected turnaround would be and the rep said average about 4 mos because the end of every month they would send all minox optics from Huston TX to Germany I explained I had a hunt coming up and I may not get my scope back I'm time for our hunt .So customer service offered to send me a loaner until my scope was repaired or replaced ,They sent it out the same day I called and spoke with their customer service.
I don't know the quality in general but I am happy their CS department was willing to send me a loaner until mu issues have been resolved.Ill keep posting on their progress, I just felt it should be reported when a company tries to stand behind their product and help their customers.

Minox sent me a loaner until warranty completes repairs or replaced yesterday the big brown truck dropped of Za Za 5ix25x56, I mounted and it's pretty decent but it lacks the field of view my zx5ix25x56mm had.

I attempted to sight in my .300 RUM ,
but I could not track mor hold zero,so I had to use my 36 year Ruger M77 (1st gen) in ,270 winchester, and my Vortex diamond back up 4x16,not as accurate as my ultramag ,but ot got the job done .I also found out my new minox zx5ix25x56mm will delivered to my door by ups on Nov.8 2018 ,so we will see ,I was told my old scope was unrepairable .

So the big brown can dropped off my scope from Blaser USA in Texas and first thing I noticed is the totally new packaging which doesnt say much, but after mounting it and looking through reticle just that alone was a huge improvement over the original one,you now can see well defined reticle , I purchased, also everything was much more brighter and defined ,I looked and what used to be bare untreated aluminum was now all painted black and there was no dust inside. So far way impressed on huge improvements, let's see how it holds up longterm om my ultramag.
