Great SD's during testing of H1000, wasn't too impressed with the retumbo testing. Ran up to 80gr without pressure but erratic speeds so I'm guessing I'd hit another node above 80gr. Bullets are seated considerably longer than factory OAL. .025" off the lands is the sweet spot(OAL in the pic is .040" off) 26" bbl with a 9" Ultra. Trued G7 at 905yds was .368, DA was 4K (don't recall exactly)

Pic: Once dialed in on rocks, went to 905yds for first round shots on steel from two separate 28's running nearly identical charges. Should be good medicine at next week's team match in Douglas WY. Bbl outta be over half way through it's life after that too, sitting at 176rds now, gonna get run hot! Lol gotta love disposable bbls

I am getting 3041 out of my 7RM and the 180s.

You need to change powders. RL25,26,33 US869, etc etc.

I have 5 full and 1 partially full boxes of 180m's of the same lot if you want them. 22 bucks a full box and 10 to ship the pile of them.

Just couldn't make them work in 3 different rifles running the top of 3100 to mid 3300's. Under those speeds it was fine.

That is interesting. Did they keyhole? Blowup? I would like to hear more about it. I haven't pushed them past 3060 but I've seen 28 noslers push them at 3100-3150 with out issues.

We had a 8t, 8.5t, and a 9t. No key holes. I could never come up with an explanation on why 3 proven rifles got all junky pushing the 180ms. Slow them down and they were good. Obviously I had high hopes. I bought 6 boxes assuming they could be made to work through normal means of reloading manipulations.
I lost that fight.

Maybe a jacket core relationship issue....like a wheel spinning in a tire messing up balance????

Kinda dirt bagged the original guy here.
Sorry. If it shoots that good. Who wouldn't take it and run it?

I'm running mine out of a 9t at the moment with an 8t being spun up now. I will be going to the 197s with the new Barrel.

I haven't had an issue with them neither has my friends. I know we have had some issues with the 140 and 147 coming apart.

I bet the 9t is helping.

I did notice the 147's didn't seem to like going over low 3300's. With an 8t ran into the 3400's and it never came back round to grouping.
