Colt Sauer 300 Win Mag?

Been researching these since I have a trade option on one in excellent condition with aftermarket McMillan stock. Looking at trade value of around $1500.

Can anyone who has owned one chime in and provide any thoughts or input?

We had a .375 H&H, and it separated cases regardless of what we tried. I've always felt the retractable lugs, at the rear of the action were flexing when fired.

Same caliber? Was just curious since surfing the net has many talking about the high quality and saying good things....about the 300 wm anyways. Of course now I'm reconsidering the trade.

sorry i forgot to say mine was a 7 rem mag. very nice rifles probably need to keep the pressure less than what a regular bolt gun can easily handle on the upper end. ive always heard metal compression and receiver flex is greater with the rear lug receiver guns.
