Hey All. Any of you guys running H4350 in a .243 Winchester? That powder seems to be synonymous with the 6.5/.260 bunch, but I haven't seen it mentioned a great deal with the .243/6mm guru's.

My father uses it with his and has decent results. He's def not as hardcore as some of these guys, but definitely works if you're looking a hunting round.

......was thinking of trying H4350 with some Berger 87 grain vld's. According to Berger load data it has slightly more case fill than Varget. However, I have seen Varget mentioned quite a bit more with the .243.....

I ran it with 100-105s in 6mm creedmoor. I'm sure it would work equally as well in 243

My son's stainless varmint contour shoots bug holes with this combo.

I plan to try both H4350 and Varget in my striker pistol 243win with the 85gr Sierra GK. Hopefully it works well, I've got 1000 GK and 8lbs of both powders.

Had good luck with it in mine.

95 vlds and 100 gr sierra pro hunters, very accurate loads.

I load for my 12 year old daughter's Tikka T3X lite. Her hunting load is a Berger 95 Classic Hunter sitting on 40.6 of H4350, .020 of the lands. This has produced a consistent sub .5 at 100m. She is clanging a 4 inch center group on a 6 inch plate at 600. Been happy with it. She will take her first Muley this year.
