Hey everyone,
Getting very close to finally getting another long range rig after selling my Remington 5R in 300 WM 4 years ago. I've been looking at the PT&G Extreme combo....basically a trued 700 action with a custom fit PT&G bolt. My estimated build price with a Pac Nor barrel and McMillan A3 was right around $2000. I've since come across the CA Mesa LR rifle that comes in 300 WM. It looks like a solid rifle that is pretty close to my build specs, except that it's a medium palma vs a Sendero contour barrel, and not a McMillan stock....obvioudly something I could switch out if I wanted.
Bottom line, with a sub moa guarantee, the fact that I am moving to Hill AFB in Utah and will be a few hours from Christensen Arms, no production time, and a seemingly good reputation....is there anywhere I can really go wrong with the Christensen? My goal is long range steel and some longer range big game once I prove myself on targets. Dead set on the 300 WM so no argument there.
Any input is always appreciated.
Thanks,
Tucker
