Was doing load development for a buddy's 300 Rum and noticed a lot of the primers (fed 215s) stick out up to .004" past the case head. Ran a Lyman pocket reamer through some of them and it only seemed to take off a slight amount of brass on the outer edges but didn't fix it. Gun shoots well and it hasn't caused problems just wondering if anyone else has noticed this? Used my Forster co-ax press to seat them which works well with everything else and puts a .004" crush.

Thank you, that is what I need. Already have an rcbs trimmer so this will work well. Although I thought tolerances on this would be bettter than that from the factory.

using with the trimmer will help , with not cutting into the sides and only the bottom depth , i first used a case pre trio and if i was on a slight angle i made the pockets loose on a few -- i think the trimmer will work very well since you will bottom it into the pocket before starting to cut -- very sharp bit

the brass will build up fast , so you will have to back out and empty and repeat until you hit your stop
